We are at a time in history where our society has spent decades accumulating and disposing of things because the items value appears to have been lost.  One thing that has maintained its value is well-built architecture.

I believe that past generations of architects, builders, craftsmen and community leaders highly esteemed well-built, architecturally beautiful schools and would cringe at the thought the building they created would be raised for some “instant” building selling more “disposable” things.  I also believe that these wonderful old school buildings can be restored and reused in today's environment without demolition.Therefore, the mission of OldSchoolsForSale.com is to provide a community for those that are promoting the reuse of fine, old school properties.  This site will keep the community informed of school properties in the news, going to auction or sale and of architects, builders and suppliers that support restoration.
